FILMSCORE

Here are some of the filmscore music concepts created by David O. White.  You can listen to audio recordings and also view video clips of his filmscore competition submissions which use his original composition and recordings.  Compositions are created with a selection of instrumentation and musical styles, in such an effort as to enhance the content of the visual – it’s intent, the images, the storyline, the acting, and the purpose.  If you are interested in having original music created for a documentary, video, filmscore, or other presentation formats, please send a detailed message about what it is you are needing at music@davidowhite.com

This video created by The Crowhill Company, to celebrate their Concussion Drums instrument plugin library.  The Crowhill Company put forth a “challenge” to filmscore composers, in celebration of the library, using any instrumentation the composer wanted to use, as a way of creating a showcase for filmscore composition, as well.  The original music and mixing in this video is original composition and instrumental arrangement by David O. White, owned and copyright by same.

Crowhill Concussion Drums Challenge Submission - David O White

This original composition, “Solitude”, emotes an original photo by David O. White, creates a specific ambience using several instrument plugins from The Crowhill Company (https://thecrowhillcompany.com/), specifically Attic Piano, R&D Strings, Celestatone, and Shimmer Guitar, from their “VAULTS” series.
